For some time now I'm having this amazing leather harness/belt from Lanvin in my mind.
But there are some alternatives, too, if it cannot be Lanvin. Caroline from Carolinesmode made one herselft in a workshop, but you can buy this kind of thing on edieseyes.com as well. It is not as beautiful as the original, but for starters it is adequate, I guess. What makes the original so gorgious, though, is the extraordnary brooch u find in a lot of accessory pieces for SS11 at Lanvin's.
I'm considering doing one myself, too... We'll see.. But there are acouple of different but similiar chainy belts that are not less gorgious:
The first two are Hérve Léger, after that come two runway pictures of Sass&Bide
The right piece is a Fleet Ilya, the left as well as all the following pieces are Zana Baynes leather collection
The last couple of pictures are all by Zana Bayne. The verly last piece is more casual and ready to wear with an every day style. The piece before is a little bit more sophisticated, though. Not quite sure which one front and which one back is, and it looks some kind like a gladiator protector, but wearing it with sth elegant, clashing with styles could really rock.
